Is there a formula for creating Colony planets?
I did some experiment yesterday and today, trying to find out the relationship between how much resources it takes to make a colony planet and what size that colony planet might have.
First I sent out a colony ship with 20 large cargo, all filled up, I got a colony planet with 89 fields.
Then I sent out another colony ship, this time with 6000 large cargo, filled to the rim with resources, all that resources got me a colony planet with 69 fields !!
I am puzzled.
If 20 large cargo full of resources get me a planet with 89 fields, how come 6000 large cargo, with 300 times as much resources, only get me a planet with 69 fields??
Today I did another experiment. Sent out a colony ship with 200 freighter, each having the size of 300 large cargo, for the equivalent of 6000 large cargo.
This time I got a colony with 59 fields !!!!!!!!!
Same amount of stuffs I used yesterday, and got an even tinier planet !
Can someone tell us just what type of formula this thing uses to determine how large the colony planets gonna be??

I think there is no formula for planets, im having bad luck too with colonys too because cargos and freighter have nothing to do the size of planet i think you only loose resouyrces, send just colony ships with nothing more!

1 colony ship gives you the maximum gain when colonizing planets. do NOT waste resources for nothing!
Some slot numbers (1-15) have planet size chances that are good (e.g. slot 4,5 & 6)...just colonize there. 1, 2 & 3 slots sux
